To give someone else a glimpse of a moment in time. The beauty of the world is wonderful to try to capture. The colors and tones have always fascinated me. I try to create a feeling of depth. Although Im a self taught artist, I am always learning new techniques to improve my paintings.

I am living in the South near the water where the turtles can ocasionally be seen. The sandpipers are by far my favourite bird in the region between Dauphin Island, Alabama and Destin, Florida. I often travel to the beaches to take pictures of what I like to paint.

I was born in Australia and have spent most of my adult life in America. I try to paint moments that hopefully inspire or bring happiness to you.

I seem to be drawn towards painting seascapes and lakes.  Anything with water really.  I grew up on a pond .  Then when I was young we would drive to the beach on the weekend.  The waves were so big they seemed about 13 foot tall.  Of course they weren’t it was just that I was so little.  I used to have dreams about waves as far as the eye could see.  I love the beach and look forward to each trip there.  Australia has beautiful beaches, then I lived in Hawaii which has beautiful beaches, now I live near Gulf Shores which also has beautiful beaches.  All three areas are different because the waves move differently in each area.  I have been captivated by the waves in the Gulf lately.  The way the waves flow is mesmerising to me whether it be on Mobile Bay or in Gulf Shores.
